We had some time on Saturday before departure so we went to India. To be more specific: Little India in Singapore down town. You went on at our railway station by our hotel and when we stepped out into Little India it was like another world. People, smells and all that. Reminded me about some parts of Colombo and I almost felt like home right away.It was fun to see.
People were wearing salvar kamesh, traditional customs you see tamils wearing in India and Sri Lanka.
The Hindu kovil and the red dot on their heads. The nice spices and the tamil language. I really enjoyed this quick change. Just a few stops down from were we had our hotel we entered a another world.
