Igår feiret vi Elizabeth sin 6 års dag med sjokolade kake og bestilte middag hjem, dvs ris og pizza. Hærlig blanding av en kvelds men alle fikk det de ville ha og alle ble glade.
Yesterday we celebrated Elizabeths 6 birthday. We had chocolate cake and dinner at home. Dinner was chicken fried rice and pizza, yes a wonderful mix of food but we all god what we wanted and everybody was happy.
In Sri Lanka, a wedding is very important. And a family very often don't save on the expenses.Just before we left for Greece we were invited to such a wedding. Elizabeth was the flower girl and did a great job.We enjoy this and the food was great.But not only was this a great wedding, the crowd was huge. You can see from the picture of the hall I took. Huge and it was packed.I Sri Lanka er bryllup en stor affære. Da skal en ikke spare på noe en har bryllup sermonien og mange har også det en kaller for home coming. Dvs et party etter at brudeparet har vert på bryllups reisa. Med andre ord 2 parties og mye folk.Like før vi reiste til Hellas var vi et slikt bryllup og Elizabeth var brudepike. Hun gjorde en flott job.Vi kosts oss og hade en flott kveld sammen.Som jeg skrev, bryllup er vitkig og i dette bryllupet var i en stor hall. Den var helt full av gjester.

"Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
I will sing the praises of your name."[c]
10 Again, it says,
"Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people."[d]
11 And again,
"Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
let all the peoples extol him."[e]
12 And again, Isaiah says,
"The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
in him the Gentiles will hope.
I love this Bible passage, God clearly states. He wants the none jew, the gentiles as the Bible calls us to rejoice in the Lord.
What a hope we have, what a future we have, what a life we have received.
Let the His joy fill you today and more.
Let His Joy be a source of strength for our day today.
