On Friday I went to Colombo and we saw this rather rebuild old car with huge types on.

On last Sunday, 24/2 we said goodbye to the Kort family in our church. We all tried not to be emotional but we ended up being it.
It was a day we will not forget.
Thank you Daniel and Irene.

Then Monday was a holiday and who showed up? jon and Dillon. And they were very sporty,came in the Sri Lankan sarong.
They looked good.

Today Roshini and I went to Colombo and handed over 3 boxes to a person who gives bibles to the prisons here in Sri Lanka.
This person tells me there are many who has received Jesus as their savior because of security we can't show the photo.

Konsert - Concert with Michael W. Smith

Igår reiste vi 5, Chathura, hans venn, Jon, Dillon og jeg, på Michael W.Smith konsert i Colombo og det var ennopplevelse.
Alle de herlige lovsangene, og det var godt å være der.

Vi traff Siri og Kjetil Eiksund fra Volda, Stig Thorsteinsen med barna, Shamal, Shandesh og broren, Mr.Bandula med Dilki og mange andre venner var der.
Det var åndelig og sosialt til tusen, 4000 troende kommer isammen til lovsang gjorde det til en kjempe opplevelse.



Yesterday 5 of us, Chathura, his friend, Jon, Dillon and I went to Michael W.Smith concert in Colombo, and it was a huge experience.
It was spiritual as well as social.
We met Kjetil and Siri Eiksund from Volda, Stig Thorsteinsen her brother with his children, Shamal an old friend, Shandesh from our church and his family. We met Mr.Bandula our boss and his wife and son and many others.
It was a good time and when 4000 fellow believers get together to worship The TRUE LORD, KING OF KINGS it really does something to you.
That said, i wish Michael W.Smith could had sung 2-3 more songs.
For me it was also a trip down the memory lane, with songs like friend for ever, Hallelujah, above all, and those other beautiful songs he has blessed us with.

Colombo trips - Colombo turer

I don't know how many times I have been around in Colombo but every time I see a small detail,either new or new on that place because I never noticed it.
Yes, The traffic can be a bit hectic.
But there are so many details, stories you could make just out of one snap shot.

Jeg vet ikke hvor mange ganger jeg har vert i Colombo i ens erend men jeg ser stadig vekk noe nytt. Før om tiden hadde jeg ikke kamera med. Og jeg kjørte, nå bli jeg kjørt og da kannen ta bilder.
En ser nye detaljer og gamle steder en har sett tusen ganger, plutselig ser du noe du aldri en har sett før.
Trafikken er et liv i seg selv, men hærlig!
