I have passed this place several times but that day I was so impressed and
stopped.
This boat really caught my attention so I had a chat with him.
If you like to know, its in Seeduwa just after the Seeduwa junction if you
go to Colombo.

A peaceful moment - en stille sound

Aa sitte med en bekk eller foss er beroligende . Om noen strakser reiser vi hjem til Negombo . Saa Jwg nyter dette oyblikket med figlesang og elvensang .

To sit at riverside or waterfalls is very calming and relaxing. In a short while we head back home to Negombo. So in this moment i enjoy the peaceful birds singing and the living water. The psalms talks on living water that shall dwell from out within.

Vakker blomst - a beautiful flower

 

 

For us men we say, she was like a beautiful flower.

But this time, I'm actually talking about a flower, the areliya flower.

Here in Sri Lanka we find it many places and I really like it.

Its very beautiful.

 

I Sri Lanka har vi mange vakre blomster, blomster og jenter.  Men en av dem er areliya

blomsten.  Når jeg er nede på helsestudio er det flere slike trær

utenfor der med blomstrene og de er vakre.

One day a clown came and Elizabeth wondered what kind of guy this is.

 Her Lang-Fredags kveld koste vi to oss med en god cup hjemmelaget cappucino.
Elizabeth voknet og sa nam nam og før vi viste ordet av det drakk hun litt siden Roshini delte med henne.
Det var nok sukkeret hun likte ja.
Hun må være lik faren sin for hun ble ikke mer hyper av kaffe men sovnet like etterpå.

ON Good-Friday Roshini and I made us a nice cup of home made cappucino.
Elizabeth woke up and said jammy and went for Roshinis cup. She drank and liked it.
I suppose the sugar amount was important.
she must be like her father, because she didnæt go hyper and she went straight to sleep.
 
 

my home town Negombo

I have a confession.
For years I said I do come from from Volda, a small but very picturesques town on the western coast of Norway.
But as I have driven through Negombo where I have no resided for the last 9 years.
Then Friday I took 1 photo and and today I got many more.
 And it has slowly dawned on me, I do love this town. It has it charm, it beauty and also the ugly bit too. But I realized I kind love this place.

The history of Negombo is rich, the architecture too. Churches, streets, people and nature.
We have so many things here and I will in time to come put many pictures from my home town Negombo.

 In time to come I really want to share this with you all.

Gods thoughts for us

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

There is a Bible verse I really love.
It speaks about how God thinks about us.
Look at this verse, God has plans for us, He cares. Give hope and a future.

 

He has thought of a future and positivity,

I like the thoguth of knowing: God has hopes for me, so and so for you. He has hopes for our future.

 

Don't walk around and think no one think positive about you, God does.

Spend some time with HIM in the HIS WORD and find out more about HOW MUCH HE CARES, thinks and want to be a part of your life.

Maxi chicken

I know, KFC, McDonald og alle disse kommerse amerikanske er typisk men vi har dei her i Sri Lanka også.

Vi har en lokal variant som heter Maxi Chicken og den er god.

Den er faktisk bedre enn KFC, dvs Kentucky.

En ting som jeg liker med Maxi er iskremmen.

The fishing boat - fiskebåtene

Yesterday I had a nice stop on my way home from the gym. I stopped and looked at the fishing boats and the fishermen standing and talking.

The sun setting and people walking by, it was kind of nice standing there and looking at it all.

 

Igår var jeg på veg hjem fra helsesdtudioet.

Da stoppet jeg opp for å se på livet nede ved kaia og det var rent idyllisk å se på.

Med solnedgangen og fiskebåtene som lå der.

Menneskene som syklet over brua og fiskerene som sto der med sneipen og tok seg en blås.

Og med pizzeriaet rett bak meg passet det rett inn i et flott bilde igrunnen.

 

 

FW: a nice old guest house

 

The other day I walked down town Negombo toiwn.'i had always wondered what this New Guest house was. I had looked at it from outside.'

So I went inside and it had some nice old furnitures and a old style that reminds me a bit of colonial style.

Rates are even cheap but the maintenance could have been better.

I dont know what took the cake until I saw the, garden. Words cant describe it. You have to see it yourself.
