farvel 2008

2008 er i ferd med å si farvel.

Vi her i Sri Lanka vil bare takke for all forbønn, støtte og hjelp som er gitt.

Vi har fått oppleve oppturer og nedturer. Men i alt vil vi si Herren er med. Og vi har opplevd et fantastisk.

Vi ser frem til det nye året.

2008 is about to run out.

We here in Sri Lanka just want to thank you all for all the prayers, support and help you have given to us in the last year.

We've experienced ups and downs, but through and through we can say that the Lord has been with us and we've experienced a fantastic year.

Who is Svend Svendsen?

I am a Christian man who is born in Norway 1978.

At the moment I am working for the print shop New Life Lierature in Katunayake, Sri Lanka.

I have served there since 2003. I came for 6 months in 2000 so by 2009 I have been over 6 years in Sri Lanka.

What Esiah says in chapter.60v1-3 I firmly believe:

"Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.

"Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising."

Even though this is Christ I believe this is about US. Because we have received HIM INTO OUR HEARTS they will be DRAWN to OUR LIGHTS.
